TRACKABLE TWITTER LINKS?

Recently I sent out an email about the freebie coaching sessions.

I had a tremendous response to that, but I wondered what would happen if I tweeted it and sent people to a post on my site.

So I posted my same email onto my site and then tweeted a shorty link.

I got almost a third more responses than from my list – making it close to 2000 responses in all. I tweeted it three times in three days around 10pm Hawaii time.

If you want to double your reader-rate: create your newsletter and send it to your list; then post it on your site, then tweet it. Make a title you know people will respond to – mine was ‘free biz success sessions’ and the included link.

Instead of tinyurl.com for making shorty links, I used http://bit.ly, because I can track my links! That’s how I know I had so many tweet responses. It’s a fabulous tool.

You might say I’ve been a bit busy handling it all, but am I stoked? You bet!
